FLAGSHIP PROJECT OF THE MONTH.

This month we were able to complete the below flagship project.
Client Name: Vestas
Project: Vestas Wind Park Project
Task: Overall due diligence investigation in respect of establishing and running a wind farm in Tanzania.
Duration: 2017

RECEIVING OF TANZANIA LAW SCHOOL 23rd COHORT STUDENTS FOR CLINICAL LAW TRAINING.

Every two months CRB Africa legal receives a group of interns to impart legal training and hands on experience of the day to day legal and commercial transactions, under the auspices of the firm, through the Law School of Tanzania Field Placement Programme.

The firm further extends its social responsibility by accepting interns as young as 18 years old, and as early as those who have only finished forms six and are waiting to start university, to those who have finished University and are waiting to begin their postgraduate Legal practice certificate at the Law school of Tanzania, to those who have successfully finished the programme and are awaiting their results. And finally to those fresh minded young lawyers who have just graduated the Law School of Tanzania, and are looking to gain hands on corporate, mining ,property, and so much more legal and practical experience in good time to progress their career. CRB Africa Legal welcomes them all.
 
This month we received Elias Kasunga, Mutandzi Matovelo, Rosebert Nimrod and,
Herman Kilenzi for the field placement programme and the firm is pleased to have these trainees under their wings,grooming and involving them in the day to day activities of the Firm.

PARTICIPATION IN THE AMSCO TRAINING SESSION.

AMSCO presented a “Practical Skills in Arbitration” a four day course tailored to equip attendees with a practical hands-on approach. 21 of CRB lawyers attended this training session.

This four-day training was presented by internationally recognized arbitrators and arbitration advocates. Participants were walked you through the arbitration process from start to finish. This limited capacity training provided attendees with a unique learning environment and industry contacts that will sustain throughout their careers.


 

BIRTHDAYS.

This June 2 of our CRB lawyers celebrated their birthdays. Camilla Yusuf on the 22nd June and Dodo Selemani on the 20th June. CRB wishes you ladies a Happy Birthday and a great year to come.

BAR ADMISSION.

This June on of CRB lawyers, Pladius Mwombeki got admitted into the Tanzania Bar Association.

Congratulation Pladius on this milestone, CRB looks forward to working with you as you further grow your career.

EVENT OF THE MONTH: IFTAR

This June during Ramadan, CRB had the pleasure of hosting Iftar for its staff and families. This was to show respect and appreciation for the religious holiday tradition, and to support the Muslim members of the CRB family. The Iftar was held at the compound outside of CRB offices.
